Today, he draws inspiration from nature, the craft and science of building, the creation of places for people to thrive, and the power of grassroots community education and organizing to create positive change.Р”Р„ native of Puerto Rico, FР“РЋtima attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Architecture from which she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design in 2008. His childhood in the Appalachian Mountains, Bauhaus education at Virginia Tech, early architectural career in San Francisco, and his prior work at MGA Partners have formed the foundation for DrewРІР‚в„ўs practice of Architecture. Studio 6mm was co-founded in 2013 by Brian Szymanik and David Quadrini.Р”Р„s Director of the Architecture studio at Re:Vision Architecture, Drew specializes in designing deep-green projects, including net-zero energy, Living Building Challenge, and Passive House. Whether working at the scale of a single family home, planning a highly-specialized facility for academic research, or developing a plan to reinvigorate an entire neighborhood, Studio 6mm works diligently to uncover beautiful solutions to the challenges that each project presents. With experience serving clients in the mission-driven, residential, retail, and academic realms, Studio 6mm operates with agency to improve communities, develop gracious environments, and create meaningful spaces that elevate the daily rituals of contemporary life.
